Two days go by before Charles wakes. When he opens his eyes, he is greeted by an unfamiliar ceiling. Panicking, he takes in his surroundings. He is in a small room with a kitchen and chaise lounge. A woman walks into the kitchen, grabbing a kettle. Her blonde hair hangs to her mid-waist.   “Caroline?” Charles calls out. Caroline whirls around, her eyes widen as she realizes Charles is awake. “Mr. Delacroix!” She covers herself with her robe. “You’re awake! Let me get Della.”   “Wait...Della?” Caroline doesn’t hear him; she is busy running down the hall. A happy shriek rings through the small cottage, and Della comes sprinting towards the sitting room.
