Elena's mouth watered at the food, but she did her best to school her expression. She wouldn't give Tyler the satisfaction of knowing just how effective his simple requests were at testing her patience.
A part of her wanted to sneak something simple—surely Tyler's cameras weren't perfect, were they? A small can of tomatoes could easily be hidden within her sleeves. Elena knew if she could eat and build up her strength, she stood a better chance of escaping.
But there was also the chance Tyler harmed Aria. Elena couldn't risk it.
