"No, just ran into a bat in heat." Jessica shook her head and laughed, taking a slight inventory of her luggage, after being tracked by the Blood Dragons for a long time, they were now short on supplies, and in order to get a foothold in the western part of the world as soon as possible, they had to do the quests quickly.
She loaded the dragon file into the dark layer of her backpack first, and then used her tablet to log into the Western Dark Gold Eagles Guild in Hawks City, immediately projecting a virtual screen.

In certain obscure satellite cities, where almost any kind of federation coin is devalued due to the earth boundaries touching each other, the power of various places, and the trade is well developed, and the supplies are the fundamental for everything to flow smoothly.
On the contrary, the center of the Federation often arranges many currency exchange offices in order to consolidate power, forcing outsiders to use their native currency.
In addition to the main city, the federation also has a first level center city and second level satellite cities, the Hawks City where Jessica is now, is a weaker second level satellite city, the circulation rate of the federal currency is not really high, but it is also a necessary item for daily life.
Jessica now felt that her entire mental state was very good, just like this feeling of having money in her pocket and a mission!
She went to the underground trading market to purchase some essential supplies, and Sara found Daniel in a small underground gambling market, it was said that this excellent little partner mixed among the local gangs and asked around a lot of information, almost to the point of becoming brothers with a certain small gang leader.
They dragged Daniel to the Hunter's Guild.
The group crossed the main street and arrived at the entrance to the Hunter's Guild.
The black monolithic standing building exuded a wild atmosphere while revealing a high-tech charm. The huge mechanical door opened like a giant beast, guarding the entrance. Steel fused with primitive rocks, the exterior was scarred, and gilt-like colors seeped out of the cracks in the stones, but it was an indestructible city.
High-tech control rooms set into the deep walls monitored every corner of the union.
The building was a meeting of barbarism and technology, symbolizing the guild's power and majesty.
Even though the Dark Gold Eagle's true guild's main camp was in Serinlo City, the branch guild here was still brilliant, and it stood in the center of this wilderness, one of the tallest buildings here.
After turning in their weapons for the time being, the group entered the polygonal interior filled with techno-electronic walls and followed the robot's guidance to a smart counter.
Without a word, Jessica registered the three and teamed up to confirm acceptance of the mission, the whole operation so silky smooth that Sara watched her starry-eyed at the string of little combos.
Daniel darted in and drizzled some liquid over the flowers that had put the long-needed Jessica on the table and made his way to a manual counter where a blonde lady in a blue uniform sat. She had a pale neck and slender fingers and looked very demure.
People skills were Daniel's innate talent.
Daniel straightened his blonde curls in the small mirror, shook his coat and hat around a few times, then raised an eyebrow and arched a flirtatious smile.
"What is your name, this beautiful young lady?" Daniel strode across to the staff like a flower peacock in full bloom, politely making a pre-apocalyptic kissing hand salute to the partitioned void.
He was suave, yet his mind carefully probed her with a caution imperceptible to the average person.
The staff member she shook her head and smiled as if to express her resistance to men, but still could see a hint of interest in the handsome blonde in front of her with her restraint, "Sir, it's okay not to interrupt my work."
The sign on her blue staff uniform read 'Jenny', she was exquisitely dressed and seemed to come from a good family, a silver necklace hung around her long white neck, the initial end falling into her cleavage as if to hide something, and immediately caught Daniel's eye.
"No, Christians aren't common these days." Daniel pulled a different style of silver cross from his collar.
The cross was made of silver, and compared to Jenny's clean and simple style, Daniel's cross was inscribed with some ancient patterns and language, and it was uniquely shaped, still retaining the luxurious aristocratic style from before the end of time.
"I made this myself. I've been attracted to your charms for a long time, Miss Jenny, and I feel that there is a special bond between us. Let me meet you-God is merciful."
The last sentence made Jenny cover her mouth and giggle, "Judge of Justice - are you flirting with me?"
"What do you think?" Daniel lifted his sunglasses, winked, and casually pulled a blank slip from the serving table, scribbling his own communication number on the back quickly, circling it and drawing a labeled love heart.
"Day after tomorrow, Sunday night, ten o'clock, I'll meet you at the Lost Sandbar Restaurant." He magically drew a flaming bundle of who-knows-what from behind his back, and Jenny covered her mouth in surprise; flammable items weren't allowed in the guild.
Daniel's hand quickly slid along the branch and the flames died down, revealing a bouquet of roses with charred edges, surprisingly apocalyptic.
"Jenny, please do come, don't break my fragile heart again. Bye." Daniel slid the note and the rose into the trading round window and pulled the glass closed gently, taking one last deep look, smiling and waving as he dashed away.
He didn't have to turn around to know that he had Jenny's gaze glued tightly behind him, and his tricks always worked.
Jessica in the far lounge area sat cross-legged on a bench in the dark gold of the lobby, looking up all sorts of information about the sandworms on her own laptop over and over again, and said with a grimace, "Sara, go get Daniel, the philandering slut, and bring him over here. Get ready to discuss the operation."
"This mission is weird, it has to be a team of 5. The system just automatically matched us with 2 strangers who also have references, we have to be careful."
......
The wind and sand blew painfully on everyone's face, and the hot sun stung the nerves of the people in the group.
The feet of the five people dressed differently stepped deeper and deeper into the quicksand, heavily armed, all with hoods wrapped around the lower half of their faces.
Jessica revealed a pair of pale gray-blue eyes like jewels and wheat-colored skin; she was usually dressed in this full wrap, it was used to her.
But at the moment she felt like her whole body was fully cooked by the sun, sprinkled with pretzels and ready to be served. The thought of the task of capturing 3 turbo sandworms later in the day gave her a tight fit.
"It's unlucky how our leader this time is a teenage girl."
A discordant grumble came from the end of the group and Jessica looked back over her shoulder at a large, bronze-skinned, strong orcish man with a pair of seemingly non-retractable pig fangs that protruded through two holes in his visor.
"Hey, I say chica, we're going to be on the field later, you can't do it or I'll be the captain instead."
Another skinny man whistled a few times, an untidy mouthful of yellow teeth peeking out of his pale lips.
The first generation of scientists on Earth opened the Pandora's Box in order to resist the invasion of foreign enemies, mixing human genes with the genes of other organisms, known as the "bloodline successor", or creating "technological bionic human beings" with a very high degree of fit, but the latter due to the expensive raw materials in small quantities. However, the latter is less available due to the high cost of raw materials.
Overnight, many new laboratories sprang up like mushrooms after the rain, and there were no longer any moral restrictions on experimentation. Though at first they had a certain effect on the aliens, after the failure of the "Vadota Uprising", these experiments were displaced, and coupled with the disorderly mating that is characteristic of a chaotic world, many mutated bloodlines were created.
Obviously, the genes of the strong man are closer to the "bloodline inheritors" of the first generation of porcupine species, while the genes of the thin man should have been reorganized many times, belonging to a special "bloodline mutant".
Porcupine and ...... unknown species. It's really not good ...... They don't seem to have any good intentions towards me. I'm not used to teaming up with strangers, but it would be a shame to give up on this quest.
Jessica thought to herself.
"What do you guys want?"
Sara prepared to open her mouth to speak, but not being acclimatized to the climate of the Western Desert, she accidentally swallowed a mouthful of sand, clogging her silvery voice, and she sneezed adorably but untimely.
The atmosphere became very tense and everyone's attention was gathered.
Feeling the pressure, the captain of this mission operation, Jessica, her pair of gray-blue pupils began to contract dramatically, revealing a signal of danger, and the scales in her left hand stood ready to fire.
"Hey, hey, hey, gryphons, calm down. Jessica, do you have any more water?"
Without waiting for Jessica to speak, Daniel said forcefully and nonchalantly, his voice overshadowing the two men.
