After what felt like an eternity, I suddenly heard light footsteps followed by heavier footsteps, and they were getting louder. At that moment, I was standing in the kitchen, nursing the whiskey in my hand.
Instinctively, I spun around to see my beautiful angel running down the hall, and she had her stunning, amethyst eyes locked on me. After hastily setting the glass of whiskey on the counter, I rushed to my angel queen and immediately picked her up.
While spinning around and gazing up into her gorgeous eyes, I happily exclaimed, “My angel, I missed you so much.”
As I stopped spinning, I lowered my angel, and she was quick to wrap her arms around me, then Genevieve affectionately nuzzled her nose against mine, as she softly murmured, “I missed you, too!
