*Ari's POV*
I laid my head against the armrest of the couch. This living room was quite serene and not compacted like the cells. I tried to sleep and give my thoughts of Arian and his robbery a rest. By now he must've stolen the Kernel of Unity and was safely returning home. I put an arm over my closed eyes and sighed.
I really wished I could've helped him, but would I have made a difference?
Knocks erupted from the lobby and I glanced at the door. Did Arian forget his keys? I vigilantly went to unlock the door. If it was someone else, I could pass off as being one of Arian's 'reward girls' that he took home, although it sounded morbid.
"Pine?" Pine was catching his breath as he held the door frame. "What're you doing here?"
