Everyone likes to think if something like the Zombie Apocalypse happened, they'd be prepared. That they would have a level head and not panic. That they would be the hero that saved everyone. But that was their pride talking...
Nobody was prepared when the world fell to these shambling, rotting monsters.
You could have been sitting on your couch, watching TV or out at a party with friends when these growling things attacked you. You would have no clue what was going on until it was too late. You might think that your friend was messing with you or that your parents weren't feeling well. Then BOOM, one bite and now you're also a zombie.
Even if you were an apocalypse nut that stuffed food in every single hole in your house, ones that trained with guns or blades, that fortified your home to the max. There's always that one thing, monster or desperate human that manages to get through.
At the end of the day, your survival rate is just as low as the unprepared.
Maybe lower...
The more supplies you have the more chance that there's a target on your back.
