“I told you not to f*****g spar with her!” Ares yells
“I know Ares, I f*****g know!” I yell back
“You are going to be the reason we lose our mate. You know why? Because you’re an i***t!” He is angry with me
I slam my fist into the desk. Ares is right, I am an i***t. I should’ve known better than to spar with her. She said she didn’t feel she was getting proper practice with her afternoon instructor. Arora will never believe that, it sounds stupid even saying it now.
“You better find a way to fix this, Damon!” Ares yells
“What do you want me to do?!” I ask
“You made this mess, you better clean it up. She’s not going to continue accepting apologies and excuses from you.” Ares says
I drop my head into my hands then I hear a knock on the door.
