CHAPTER 3

734 Words
Cami was shivering under the covers, and before she could think about what to do, the sound at the door suddenly rang louder. "Hey, Cami, it turns out you didn't lock the door, then I'm coming in." Cami felt like she had fallen into an ice cellar, her whole body chilling. She did seem to forget to lock the door today... Before she could hate her carelessness, she heard the door click and opened. The moonlight outside the window spilled in, and in the darkness, a woman with a distorted body dressed in white, covered in blood, stood outside their dormitory. Cami really endured so hard not to she scream out loud. It's really Ela! Ela looks exactly the same as the corpse she saw during the day. The only difference is that she saw her without feet under her white skirt, and her body was a little hazy under the moonlight. She is not a human. It's a ghost. Ela didn't seem to notice her panic. She just walked to her seat and sat down and began to organize the table. Everything is as if she used to do back to the dormitory. Cami froze on the bed, shaking. Ela finally noticed her abnormality and turned her head to look at me. Her face was bloody and bloody, and an eyeball fell out of her eye socket and hung there. It was indescribably horrible. But she didn't seem to be aware of her appearance at all, and said to me: "Cami, why are you looking at me all the time? Is my appearance strange?" Cami almost blurted out "Yes", but she was held back anyway. She took a few deep breaths in silence to calm herself down. She have seen in ghost stories before that after some people die, the soul does not realize that they are dead and will continue their daily lives. Ela now looks like this. What puzzles her is, didn't Ela commit suicide by jumping off the building? People who commit suicide will not realize that they are dead? While she was thinking about it, Ela spoke again. "Where are Zenith and Lucy? Why are they not in the dormitory?" Cami looked at Ela's bloody face, and forced calmly: "They have something to go home today." She remember the ghost story saying that they don't realize herself that they are dead. If a dead ghost is suddenly reminded that she is dead, she will change her mind and do crazy things. Cami dare not take this risk. "Oh." Ela replied and began to organize tomorrow's schoolbag. Cami got up from the bed shivering and walked out the door. Although Ela's ghost is not dangerous for the time being, she is like a time bomb, and she doesn't want to be alone with her. "It's so late, what are you going to do?" Ela's seat was at the door. As soon as Cami wanted to open the door and go out, she turned her head and asked her. The eyeball that fell outside flickered, and she could see the bones that had been folded from her arm when she looked up close. Cami resisted the nausea and replied, "I, I'll go out and make a phone call." She wanted to go out quickly, and didn't want to go too eagerly, so she accidentally bumped into Ela's table. There was a small mirror on her desk, and she bumped it to the ground. "Cami, why are you so careless?" Ela complained, lowering herself to pick up the mirror. Cami suddenly realized that something was wrong, and reached out to grab it. "No!" Cami was still a step late. Ela had already picked up the mirror by herself. The moment she picked up the mirror, her bloody face was reflected in the mirror. The next second, I saw Ela's twisted body froze. There was a cluck in her heart. It's over. Cami hurriedly touched the doorknob and wanted to rush out, but Ela suddenly stood up and grabbed her arms. Her hands were cold, and she shivered from the cold, trying to break free, but her hideous face suddenly rushed in front of her. The smell of blood came out, which was disgusting. "Cami! What happened to me! How could I become like this!" Ela yelled at her madly. With her roar, her eyes wandered incessantly and finally fell to the ground.
