He fell first, I fell harder

He caught my eye, I caught his, it was just a moment

But I didn't know what kind of whirlwind I was getting into

I thought I had control, I thought we had this rhythm

But then he moved closer, and my heart started to spin

He fell first, but I fell harder

Got me tripping on my heartstrings, feeling like a disaster

Maybe I'm just a fool, maybe I never learned

But when he smiled at me, my world took a turn

We talked for hours, about everything and nothing

I didn't want to leave, I wanted to keep on running

But I didn't know what he was feeling, or if he felt the same

I just knew that in this moment, I didn't want to play no games

Sometimes love's like a fairytale, but sometimes it's a test

You never know what's going to happen, or who will be the best
