Where is my Fairytale?

In this world of fleeting glances, I yearn for something true,

A love that's real, a love that lasts, one that'll break through,

I'm an eternal dreamer, holding onto hope,

But it's hard to find a love that's not just smoke.

I've painted pictures in my mind, of a love so divine,

But each time someone comes close, it's gone in the blink of an eye,

I'm tired of running in circles, chasing love's elusive track,

I'm a hopeless romantic, fighting for love to come back.

Oh, I'm searching for my forever, where is my fairytale?

I've been through the highs and lows, hoping love won't fail,

Every heartbeat reminds me, that true love's yet to find,

So I sing these words, hoping they resonate and bind.

I've tried to mend the pieces, of a heart that's scarred and bruised,

But it seems destiny's playing games, leaving me confused,

I keep searching for the one, who'll see beyond the flaws,

Someone who'll stay by my side, despite love's unyielding laws.

I've danced with many strangers, in the moonlight's embrace,

But there's always something missing, something I can't replace,

I'll keep holding onto faith, and pray my dreams come alive,

That someday, my forever will appear and thrive.
