It was six thirty in the evening when Diana alighted from a taxi at the Park . The police officers had left , but Bob had lingered , waiting for her . She ran onto his arms , and started sobbing on his shoulders . " It is okay , dear . What matters is that you are free and here with me . I hope they didn't hurt ?" " Sure , they didn't , but the past few hours have been a total living hell !" " Well , it is all now in the past . I will never let anything like this happen to you again . Come , let's go and inform the rest before they get frantic with fear ," he added , leading her into his car . Only a few people had left the wedding venue . Most , including their parents and the priest , were still seated , having fervent prayers . It was like God had instantly answered their prayers
