Nine POV
My left cheek hurt. It was red and throbbing, but I better take in the pain. I could kill her with the snap of my finger but, if I try anything rough with her, I'll end up dead.
She's an Alpha's daughter and most of all, once she becomes the moon guardian, she'll have authority that's equal to Mason's. She could order me to take my life and I'll have to obey her.
"I'll ask you again, why is he so nice to you? Have he found out you're a girl?' Leah questioned again. She followed me earlier and barged into my room. That's where all her abuse started.
I wonder if it's better to tell her the truth or lie. She may find out sooner later.
