Writer's POV
Louisa barged into the room when she got a letter from the main palace. She and Gomez have been invited to the three days mating ball. She showed Gomez the letter, shoving it to his face.
"We've been invited!" She cheered. She's not excited because she was invited to the palace, she couldn't wait to see Mason. Even if Mason wasn't interested in her, she wanted to feast her eyes on him.
Gomez let out a sigh. He remembered that he was supposed to attend the meeting related to Leah's news but, he doesn't want to. Leah was with him and he doesn't want to feel more guilty.
"Maybe I should go give her father a fake sympathy" he mumbled under his breath.
"Huh? Did you say anything? I need to buy a new dress for tonight's party" she twirled around the room.
"Yeah, whatever"
