Chapter 7 - Seth

530 Words
At Alana's urging, I move towards the large meadow. She has charged me her bag, so I hope not to have to continue running. I mean, how much can you pack for swimming ?! I put my arm around her shoulder and point to the next best free space that jumps in my eye: "Are we going there?" She examines the stain for an unusually long time and then shrugs: "If you think so." When I arrived at the place, I put her bag off first and see how she spreads her towel. Meanwhile, I pull my T-shirt over my head and pepper it on the floor. Of course I notice Alana looking at me with a smug grin, but I ignore her. Instead, I'd rather go into the water. The whole school day was too hot, so their idea with the swimming pool was quite convenient. A cool down in this weather is not a bad idea and an admittedly nice companion can not hurt either. Since I absolutely want to go into the water, I look at her expectantly: "Are you coming?" "Where to?", The girl then asks a little stupid and dropped onto her towel. I have to pull myself together so as not to roll my eyes. Maybe I should have taken Nolan with me. "Into the water," I say and try no 'where else?' add. Then she just shrugs her shoulders: "I think I prefer to sunbathe for a while and then follow suit." I sigh, but do not reply. "Or is that a problem for you?" She asks, and I shake my head. Should she lie around. I will not let my plans stop me and maybe I will find someone else to spend my time with. "Okay, good, see you later," with these words she puts on her sunglasses and closes her eyes. Now I roll my eyes. That could have been clear to me. So as not to annoy me any further, I leave our seat and head for one of the outdoor showers to get wet for a while. When I'm done, a girl enters my field of vision and I watch her with a slight grin. She wears a red bikini that flatters her and wears her dark brown hair. I follow her with my eyes and notice, as she looks in my direction, that she is one of the girls from the school. However, she is not some that I know from seeing. In fact, I have already noticed her several times today. First I saw her in German and in the schoolyard and then she even had some sports with her. The thought of the short conversation attempt with her, I prefer to suppress quickly, because you do not want to be reminded of the basket she gave me before I could even imagine. As if by instinct, I follow her to a snack stand where she starts. I purposely stand behind her and keep looking at her. Unfortunately, she notices my eyes after a while and turns around. Now I stare right in the middle of her brown eyes. "Hey," I greet her with a big grin.
