  OCTAVIA'S POV   "You have to leave now; you'll be late," Helen retorted while I dragged my feet towards the mirror. I looked heavily dressed. This most certainly wasn't my code of outfits when given the chance, but I could see and tell how much it meant to my father.   A knock, however, settled on the door, drawing both of our attention towards it.   "Come in," Helen responded. The door opened, and a smug grin crawled up the sides of my hips, seeing it was Nikolai. He walked in looking a bit angered, and I love to see him all green from envy, thanks to the fact that my father had chosen me in his place.
