NICKOLAI'S POV
A loud yawn eased through my lips as I fluttered my eyes open. I tapped slowly against the bed, trying to reach for Freya, but she was not there. I pushed up my body from the bed as I recalled occurrences of the previous night. I had almost forgotten about how terrible the previous night had been.
I glanced down to see the stitched part of my side almost healed up; those were one of the perks of being a werewolf and also an alpha.
After realizing the full moon was only three days ahead, I returned home last night. I could take out the chances that my wolf might spin out of control and hurt someone else due to the curse and the full moon approaching.I couldn't bear being held accountable for anything that came up by any means.
