“You have a call on line one,” Teague’s secretary told him over the intercom late Monday afternoon. “Did they give you their name?” he asked. Sometimes potential clients were reluctant to reveal who they were until they were talking personally to him or one of his investigators. “Yes. It’s a Mr. Newman.
