Walking the Walk
We pulled up to the parking lot being used for the “walk a mile” event. It shocked me to see so many cars. People were milling around, and it was amazing to see the city pour out to support abused women. I dressed in a pink satin dress with hose and 4-inch black heels. My makeup was perfect, and my heart was pounding to see the huge turn-out. Alexa was equally beautiful and well-dressed, but she wore Capri’s as usual and lower heels.
