Tanya looked over at Alexa and smiled. “You really have a sweet one here.” She said with a little grin. “How did you find such a darling?” “I don’t think they come this way. It takes a little culturing.” Alexa said as if I wasn’t there. “Culturing what in the world does that mean.” asked Tanya. “Jamie, and I have a unique relationship. She is learning to be my wife.” Said Alexa none too quiet. I was stoic. Alexa called me she and admitted in public I am to be her wife. My male ego roared to life. Unfortunately, when I spoke up it was more like a whine. “Alexa, do we really need to share so much with our new friends?” I complained. This little statement caused everyone around us to laugh out loud. Now my male ego was ready to explode. I realized our conversation was being overheard by many.
