*Good morning young master" Kayla greeted as I walked past her
'Gosh why does this b__ch keeps frustrating my life I'm already engaged and this stupid b__ch keeps bothering me' I groaned and ignored her
"Kayla let me give you an advice stop showing up in front of Daniel you are ugly and plain he won't notice you" Another stupid maid Felicia but I heard
I walked to the kitchen and met mom and some maids preparing breakfast
"Daniel you're awake?" She asked and hugged me briefly
"Mum why are you in the kitchen are the maid employed to laze around?" I asked and looked at them sternly
"Aiya Daniel that's ok I have legs and hands I just don't like being jobless" she smiled and patted my hair
"Alright go freshen up breakfast will soon be ready then you can go to work" she nodded to the door and I left.

I came out of the bathroom few minutes later with a towel tied at my waist and opened my closet for a nice office suit and the knob of the door twisted open slowly revealing..... Kayla
"You again!! I yelled frustratedly and ran my hand through my hair the noticed she was blacked out starring at me

I must have committed a lot of crime in my previous life to have a crazy and stupid admirer
I walked to her and grabbed her arms harshly and she jolted from the trance
"You're hurting me" she said but I cared less
Pushing her out I closed the door with a heavy 'thud' and locked it
'dear gawd can't I have a day free from frustrating b__ches' I quickly dressed up and left the mansion.
Kayla POV
I watched from the window as Daniel drove away and face palmed myself
'why do I have to be so unlucky in all my meetings with him' I thought
But that's why I'm Kayla 'giving up' have never been in my dictionary I smirked
"Kayla are you crying" a devilish voice
asked behind me it was no other than Felicia my worst nightmare
"Why the hell would I cry" I retorted back fiercely
"Anyways that's your damned business stay away from Daniel or I won't let you go easily" she smiled mockingly
"Bring it on" I whispered your in her ears and smiled haughtily while her face paled in anger
"Kayla the madam sent for you" another maid announced and quickly left
"I'll see what you can do " I said and flicked my waist length brownish hair purposely provoking her
"F__k! Felicia cursed harshly and stomped her foot on the ground
"Kayla I'll make you eat your words" she stormed out veins popping on her forehead.

"Ma'am you sent for me" I lowered my head the second I got to the room Mrs Leonard (Daniel mom) was in
"Kayla come and massage my shoulders" she said to which I quickly obliged
" Kayla can I ask you a favour" Mrs Leonard asked
"It's my pleasure" I quickly replied
"Daniel engagement party is in 2 weeks and after we'll be busy in preparation for the wedding" Mrs Leonard paused
"Daniel's engagement in 2 weeks" I smiled and lowered my head hiding the pain in my heart
"I want you to be part of the bridesmaid " She continued
"Ma'am it will be a pleasure but about my background.... I bit on my lips harshly and feigned a smile
"You don't have to worry about that I've got it covered besides I asked for this favour because I trust you"
"Ma'am there is nothing to ask I agree" I replied and she nodded
"Alright I've got it you can go join the other maids now " she said and dismissed me.
