Anna's toes scratched lightly against the floor while she held the phone, the corners of her lips curving up into a grin. She was clearly riding high on a wave of smug satisfaction.
She said it like she was being modest, but the pride was practically leaking out of her ears.
Her mood must've been contagious, because Julian let out a low chuckle on the other end. "That confident, huh? What if you bombed it? Wouldn't that be awkward?"
"Please!" Anna rolled her eyes, then giggled, "Well, that's because I had an awesome teacher, didn't I?"
