"Talk about what?" he asked back, a slight grin tugging at his lips as he strolled toward Anna.
"You know... that whole thing where I'm supposedly some psycho who stalked you into a fake marriage? That tale's wild. I'm the lead here and somehow have no memory of it. How about you walk me through it?"
Yeah... no way she was gonna bluff her way out now.
Anna chuckled awkwardly, scooting back ever so slowly. "Hey, you're the one who asked me to help with this little show. I gave it my all, okay? Maybe pushed it a bit to drive the drama home, but I swear, nothing shady behind it."
She had no shame twisting "revenge" into "driving the drama home." Totally unfazed.
