  Anna rubbed her eyes and blinked again.   Still there!   "What are you standing there for? Come over," said the man, not even turning around as Anna was about to repeat her eye-rubbing routine.   Startled, Anna scampered over on her legs. "How'd you know I was here?"   "I've got eyes in the back of my head."   Seriously? He really tried to pull that off on her like she was a kid.   She saw right through Julian's little stunt but didn't call him out, just tilted her head and watched him cook. "Didn't know you could actually cook. Thought I was seeing things just now."   "There's still a lot you don't know."   Julian was frying eggs, sleeves of his white shirt rolled up neatly. His whole vibe in the morning light was weirdly perfect.   They say guys look best when they're focused.
