Fifty-Two: Ellie
I snapped my eyes open as pain radiates through my whole body. My mate’s mark is burning like the dickens. I gasp as I clutch my neck jumping out of the bed I almost collapse on the floor. I grab a hold of the foot of the bed to steady myself. Crying out in pain I hobble to the bathroom latching onto everything in order not to fall to the ground. I make it into the bathroom and clutch the counter. I look at myself in the mirror and gasp as my mate mark looks red and angry. Then a pain like never before hits me making my body feel like it is on fire. I stumble to the bathtub and turn on the cold water. I climb into the tub, clothes and all as the cold water hits me. I sigh in relief as I pass out from the pain.
