Chapter Eleven
Thursday 26th September - Our Fourth Meeting:
Rob reveals how the incredible search for me began.
We met and Rob drove to The Golden Heart. As soon as he stopped the car, we hugged each other tightly. It was difficult to hide my emotions, as I tried to brush back the tears, so he wouldn’t see them. This was our fourth meeting, and Rob had still not said those three words I was longing to hear.
“Rob, you always seem to be rushing everywhere. When do you find the time to eat and drink during the day?”
“Oh, I’m not interested in food. I would take a tablet instead if I could. I just have a banana if I get hungry and I realise I should drink more. Water that is,” he added jokingly. This concerned me but I guess it was nothing to do with me. Still, it made me realise how lit
