Meghan's (Adria's) POV
I am inhaling and exhaling air continuously to calm myself. This will be the day that I will meet Connor, to sign the contract. I want to back out but I can't, he might find it suspicious again.
I applied red lipstick to my lips and then look at myself in the mirror. I look powerful wearing a black fitted dress and red lipstick. I am too far from the week Meghan he once knew.
When I am contented with how I look I get out of my room. When I reach my main door I am contemplating if I should open it or not.
"You have to do this Meghan. For Damian and for your peace you have to convince Connor that you are not Meghan so you can finally live as Adria Collins." I took a large deep breath and opened my door.
