Third Person POV Rosalie tiredly reached out, her hand seeking Lucian, only to feel nothing but an empty pillow beside her. Perplexed she opened her eyes and frowned when she saw that he wasn’t in bed. She could smell his scent lingering on his pillow and she sniffed, smiling as she sat up, spotting a beautiful purple rose lying on her bedside table, with a note beneath it. She picked it up, careful not to prick her fingers on the thorns, she was a little wary after the last lot of flowers she had received and smelt the delicate fragrance drifting from the petals.
