Queen Isabelle was still badly shaken by their near miss. They all could have died today if it hadn't been for Rosalie's bravery. Her husband sought to reassure her as she wept in his arms. “I still can’t believe how close we came to dying because we thought we knew best for Lucian’s future” she sobbed “Julian, we were completely fooled by them all.”
“Hush sweetheart, everything is fine now,” Julian said, trying to soothe her but his wife would not be placated.
