Third Person POV
“Thank you” Lucian hissed “Why would I thank you?” he challenged.
Damon raised an eyebrow, looking cool as a cucumber “Because I’m the one who brought Rosalie to the castle” he deadpanned “and therefore I’m responsible for you two getting together and hence the curse being broken, you two falling in love, getting engaged. You could almost say you owe me” he said thoughtfully, putting his chin in his hands and staring with wide eyes at Lucian.
He was trying to provoke his friend and it worked. Rosalie rolled her eyes as Lucian fell for it.
“Why you little” Lucian snarled, glaring daggers at his friend who continued to eye him smugly.
Rosalie just laughed and kissed Damon on the cheek, further enraging poor Lucian. “Thank you, Damon,” she said sincerely.
