Third Person POV Rosalie was troubled. On one hand, Everly had done something that was unforgivable, but on the other hand, Rosalie could understand the pain and hurt the woman must be feeling. She wasn't in her right mind. If a human had acted that way, they would have been given treatment, and help, but because she was a vampire, she was going to be hunted down and killed. Was that morally right? She wrestled with her conscience, even as her mind reminded her that Everly had tried to kill her, that she had almost killed Damon and she wanted Lucian at all costs. Rosalie couldn't afford to be so compassionate, not when her own life was at stake, no matter how inhuman it made her feel. "Where are we going?" she asked Lucian puzzled. He had made it clear she could not leave the castle.
