Zoey The next morning, I woke up bright and early. The fierce wind and rain had finally subsided. The kids were still fast asleep, and Rayden was snoozing on the bamboo sofa in the living room. Mommy had given him a blanket and a pillow to make him comfortable. As I entered the living room, I noticed my husband enjoying a cup of coffee with mommy. "Good morning," he greeted me cheerfully. I chose to ignore him and headed straight to the kitchen to make my own coffee. When I glanced outside, I could see the aftermath of the storm. Our pig looked weak and vulnerable without a roof over its head. After making my coffee, I returned to the living room and took a seat by the door. Rayden asked me, "Are the children still asleep?" "They'll wake up later, especially since it's chilly outside.
