I was sat at my desk trying to do my paper work which I have loads of being alpha to one of the the biggest packs is hard enough but doing paper work as well really sucks I take a break and look out the window and my wolf shadow is restless in my head I ask him what's up and says the same thing again he always does when are we finding mate I tell him that hopefully soon we will find her but being 25 I am starting to feel like I'm never going to have one. I look out the window I see all the little pups playing with each other and dream of my own pups and mate playing out there to. My beta Chris comes into the office and sits at his desk he found his mate a few weeks ago but she is human so he is taking it slow with her as she doesn't know that he is a wearwolf yet he notices that I'm not talking to him yet and throws a pen at me i finally say to him what's up bro he says he is nervous as his mate who I know is called Kelly wants him to meet her friends tonight so I tell him to go train for a few hours with Joe our gamma and josh our head warrior to help take his mind off his nervs so he heads out of the office and he bellows back see you later bro him and josh plus Joe are the only ones allowed to be informal with me as we all grew up together from pups. I decide to go for a run for a bit to let shadow out and have some time away from my paper work I strip of my clothes at the back of the pack house and quickly change into shadow which only takes a few seconds now I fly through the forest at my full alpha speed and reach my favourite place the lake which most people don't come to till the weather starts to get warmer I stay there for a bit before I need to head back. I finally make my way back to the pack house and Chris is there with Joe and josh in the kitchen eating dinner plus talking about going out tonight to support Chris in meeting his mates friends they notice me coming in and hand me a plate of food of my own then turn to me and ask me to come out with them I think on it then shadow says that it would be a good good idear so I say I will we play some games on the ps5 for a bit before getting ready to go out. I decide to have a shower as the rest of the guys are getting ready I get out of the shower and dry myself put on my black shirt and black jeans with my leather jacket over top I spike my hair up with a little hair wax and put on my shoes grab my wallet and phone to put in my pocket. I get down stairs to find all the guys are ready to go so we head to garage to take a couple of cars I drive my own car and the rest take Joe's as he don't drink alcohol the guys get there before me so I go to park my car and arrange to meet them at club. I make my way to the club when I sport a new bar open just down the road so I go in and buy a few drinks as us wearwolf don't really get drunk that easy I noticed after a while I've been in there while and I've got a missed text from Chris saying where am I so I message back saying where I've been and I am on my way there I make my way through the bar and outside I get a faint smell of the most beautiful smell I've ever smelt I try to follow it down the road as I get near it smells like fresh cut flowers I follow it down some ally next to club where I see three rogues surround a girl I can't see her but I take another sniff and shadow shouts in my head the one word I been dieing to hear MATE I see one grabbing her face to stop her shouting while she is trying to kick and struggle to get away from them which seems to get them angry then they push her to the floor and start to kick and punch at her which makes me boil over in anger so I let out a the most loudest growl I leap into action and pull of all the rogues of her and beat them senseless shadow wants to come out and kill them now and I find it hard to keep him under control so I tell him we cant kill them here as we are in the human area but once I get them back to the pack they are ours . After I check on my mate who is unconscious on the floor she has multiple bruises and who knows what else I decide to take her back to the pack hospital to get checked out I mind link Chris to tell him about the situation and to get the rogus transferred to the dungeon in the packhorse. I pick her up and carry her to my car I am careful to put her in the back seat as I don't know what injuries she has I head pack to the pack and look at her in the mirror and say to my self don't worry little mate I will keep you safe now.
