“You did what? That was a lot in just two weeks time,” Astrid exclaimed later when I told her all that transpired between Sebastian and I. She was right, it was a lot. But it wasn’t like it was a typical two weeks, a lot was involved, and very important realization were made during that time, so of course a lot things happened.
“Yes, I left it was the best decision I could make for myself and my family, I couldn’t just stay there and let myself fall in love with him, it would be too painful for me at the end. What if he woke up and said he was going to get married again?” I asked and shuddered at that. It would not be a very good feeling for me, I would be devastated.
Astrid just looked at me like I was going crazy. “So you don’t want him to marry someone else?”
