CHAPTER SIX

Aunt Catherine was the one calling her. " Emily I am about to leaving home now I will be coming with Lisa.

"Okay Aunt Catherine, see you."

"Okay my Daughter."

Emily with mixed emotions, she ran her hands through her hair, immediately she wondered what her aunt wanted to say.

She heard a sound of a car, she ran outside thinking it is her aunt.

As she reach outside she find it's her aunt Catherine and her younger sister.

When Maureen see Emily she is filled with Joy and ran to her.

Emily, feels good seeing her younger sister and she said, "Maureen, how are you?"

"I am fine and how are you Emily ?"

"I am Good thank you my dear sister." Looking towards her aunt Catherine she said, "aunt, are you alright?"

"No!, my child I am not, let's go inside we talk."

Emily reply, " please, do come in."

Maureen made her way down to the kitchen.

Aunt Catherine said, "she seems to know where the food is," they both laughed Emily continue asking, "perhaps you would like a cup of coffee aunt Catherine?"

"No it's fine my child, what I what to say had made me not to sleep last night."

"What is the problem aunt Catherine?"

Maureen drinking the coffee that Emily left.

Emily gazed when she sees her younger sister.

"I am even afraid about what I am about to say..." Says aunt Catherine.

"You are making me worried aunt what is it?"

"I..I..I..., please check outside, if I was been followed by Douglass."

"Why would uncle follow you here?" Emily stands up and goes toward the door and peered through the peephole in the front door, and didn't see anyone.

"Aunt Catherine there is no one outside, just tell me what's wrong?"

"Okay, I wanted to tell you that your uncle Douglass killed your parents....

" no..no uncle cannot do such a thing aunt, I know that sometimes he can be bad but he cannot do such a thing to my parents."

"He was the one my child, he killed your parents just because they were stopping him from seeing you."

Tears started dropping in Emily's eyes and in her aunt .

A knock at the front door scared them both thinking it was Douglass who was knocking.

Emily said, " who could possibly be?" She stood up and peered through the peephole in front door. Emily could not believe it was Johnathan standing on her doorstep. Johnathan knocked on the door once more.

Aunt Catherine asked, "who is it Emily?"

"Johnathan, just a friend of mine aunt."

"Oh let him in."

Emily opened it and stand without no saying a word.

Johnathan said worried about her, " hey Emily what's wrong, can I come in?"

"Oh sorry, come in please," while she gives a fake smile.

"Hello, how are you aunt?"

Aunt Catherine reply, "Hi how are you my son, please have a sit."

"Fine thank you, what is going on you both don't look alright." Johnathan sees Maureen coming out from the kitchen with a cup of coffee, "wow is she your younger sister?"

Emily reply with an emotional voice, "yes."

Johnathan stood up and walk towards Maureen and kneel down and say, " hello , how are you? "

"Am fine and how are you?"

Johnathan feels bad after remembering the sad story that Emily told her about her parents, tears drop from his eyes after remembering.

Maureen says in a sad face while she also wants to cry, "why are you crying, Emily why is he crying?"

"What is wrong Johnathan?" Asked Emily.

Removing tears from his face, " ah, nothing." Stood up and ask Emily, " what's wrong Emily?"

"We just find out who killed my parents."

"What, who is it?"

"It was my uncle Douglass, he did it just because my parents could not let him meet me, because of the thing he tried to do to me when I was young."

"What, monster let me go and...."

"No..no..no, my child do that Douglass is a very dangerous man." Sad aunt Catherine.

"I agree with what aunt is saying."

Johnathan looks at Maureen and feel bad, and said,

"Look what he did to you and your sister, Emily, your sister is just so young, she doesn't even know anything, don't you think she miss her parents?"

Maureen begin to cry, and Johnathan stops speaking after seeing her crying and walk towards her, and said, "eh..eh, stop crying." lift are up and wept off her tears.
