Ranch House
Josh was back at the Ranch House for his second briefing session, Gabby was attending her first, and much to Daniel’s disappointment, he was at preschool. Gabby had promised that he could attend the Ranch House next time, wanting to see what it was like before taking her child with her. Already the guards at the gates made her nervous. Detective Sidd had also phoned Josh to say that his wife and daughter wouldn’t be attending this time either.
They went through the routine car search and made their way to the investigation headquarters. Her expression was the same as Josh’s when he had seen the Ranch House for the first time – sheer amazement.
