Sitting in the War Room at the offices of Carter & Associates, Josh and Detective Sidd were pouring over the investigation documents. Josh had concluded his review of all of the email correspondence. Unfortunately, there were no further leads to what had really happened between Hillstrong Holdings and Hung Industries. Without the actual findings of Hung Industries, it would be difficult to know any more. The news clippings from the time of the negotiations were varied and unreliable: feuds between the two CEOs, the purchase price not being enough, and then wild accusations that both of the men had unreasonable requirements for the fulfilment of the transaction that the other wouldn’t agree to.
