Disturbing Calls
Josh and Detective Sidd were in the War Room at Carter & Associates early on Monday morning, Josh nursing a slight hangover from the bottle of red wine that he and Gabby had shared the previous night at Isabelle’s. He and Detective Sidd wanted an early start to the day because they had received the recordings from Wikus Louw’s home office phone.
The IT technicians had given a description on the workings of the phone recording system and stated that all of the calls that were made from the office phone should have been recorded as well as any calls forwarded to a mobile phone, and the files that were uploaded contained specific time stamps for each call.
