A Day at the Races
The sun wasn’t even up yet when Josh heard his phone buzzing with the sound of his alarm. He couldn’t hear any movement in the house. He decided to take a shower first, before going to make coffee and waking Daniel. Feeling much more awake after his shower, he dressed and made his way to the kitchen. Gabby was standing drinking coffee. Daniel was eating a slice of toast.
“Morning. I made some coffee and am forcing Daniel to eat something. Knowing how excited he is, he will forget to eat anything all day,” said Gabby.
Josh looked at her, thinking how attractive she was as a mother, how watching her doing the simplest of things for Daniel was so appealing to him.
