The next day Alikah woke up to her mother yelling at her to clean her room. "But Mom i just woke up, i was still sleeping" that one sentence was enough to turn Jenny's face beet red with anger and she slapped Alikah across her face. Alikah was so stunned she just got up and startex cleaning her room while Jenny followed her around the room yelling insults at her "You are such a lazy Fxcken child. The su. Has been up for hours and you are still sleeping. Are you knocked up? Why are you sleeping so much? Who is he? Who did you sleep with?!" Jenny continued yelling at a crying Alikah. " no-no one Mom i-i-i never even had a boyfriend, im not in-interested in boys" Alikah stuttered hoping her mother would believe her and stop yelling at her. A puzzled looking Michael came into the room " Jenny why are you yelling at Alikah its still too early for this" Jenny replies angrily " she needs to get the hell up and clean this damn room. It's almost 7 am when is she planning on getting up?" 

Alikah slowly got up and started cleaning her room, she was still tired but she didnt have much of a choice, she didn't want to anger her mother further. The last thing she needs right now is a beating from her mother. After cleaning her room Alikah went to check on the puppies they made a huge mess and the whole place was reeking of puppy urine, she quickly cleaned up and gave them food. Water and a bit of milk. When she finished she went to her room and took out a jean t-shirt and sneakers for the day and went to the bathoom to take a bath. When she finished she stood in the mirror looking at her tired face, daydreaming about a life where she would have her own place, a car, a job and live a comfortable life without worrying about getting a beating every now and again, she was startled by a loud knock on the door, "Hey sh*tface hurry the f*ck up" Devon's voice came from the other side of the door. She hurried out of the bathroom and went to her room to comb her long dark hair. Alikah h has long bushy hair that reaches her bum, She loves her hair, she thinks its her best asset. She dreamily brushed through her hair in front of the full body mirror which is stationed next to her bed. When she finished combing through her hair she pulled it back into a neat ponytail and went off in search of the puppies. 

She finally found them in the yard playing with a ball so she took the ball and threw it across the yard making the 2 pups run after it. Layla was the first one to reach the ball. She picked it up in her mouth and brought it back to Alikah "arent you a smart little girl" Alikah exclaimed and the pup seemed to like the attention, she jumped on Alikah licking her face. Alikah couldn't help but smile. She's starting to like this pup. She continued throwing the ball back and forth allowing the puppies to retrieve it. She threw the ball one more time and quickly ran inside to get them some treats. She awarded them each with a tasty treat everytime they brought the ball back to her. After playing with the pups for about an hour she settled under the tree on the grass, the pups came running, licking her face and leaving it full of puppy slobber, she pulled up her nose for the smell of their breath and made mental note to brush their teeth later on. 

Abby finally made her appearance "ey girl whats up?" she took Zaza from Alikahs lap and started stroking her fur the pup lazily closed her eyes and enjoyed the comfort. "Same old same old" Alikah replied. " i know you went to see Kyle last night" Abby blushed "well you know me" she laughed. "uhm yeah we hooked up and He told me he likes me, we talked some more and he kissed me, girl that guy can kiss". "oh gross Abby spare me the details i do not want to know how you and Kyle sucked each others faces come on dude!" Abby couldnt help but to laugh at the face Alikah made, sometimes her friend was just too innocent for her. Alikah doesn't even like boys. She would rather hang out by herself than hang out where boys will be present."He invited us to his party next week, are you going?" Abby asked. Alikah cuddled little Layla and said "Abs you know i don't do parties"
