I blinked in disbelief. Trexis looked at me pleadingly, “Aleynia, please let me explain,” he begged. I backed away from the bars as fast as possible, stumbling to my feet. “It’s not what you think - please just listen -if you let me explain you will understand!” Trexis pled, raising his voice; but my ears felt like they were under water.
