Blessing pov: I simply got up to leave, he Joined me, took his umbrella at the door, the rain had reduced to a light drizzle. yet he held the umbrella over our heads with one hand and my shoulder with the other, he opened the Car door For me, when I sat in, he gently Closed it, went round and Joined me. "My…..My house is just behind That bar, he said pointing to a bar across the street. "Would you like to see” he asked, I knew it was a bad idea but could not seem to say So, Slowly nodding my head in affirmation when he said we needed to talk, we drove in silence until we turned the street and came before a giant black gate with golden flowers, that glowed in the bright headlight, the gates automatically opened and Cola drove-in, the Solid white bungalow was Impressive as I had expected of Cola’s residence. It was clean, bright and a lovely place to come back to after a long day of work, Cola has always been far wealthier than you'd ever Imagine of a young man, old money Plus his hard earn cash Joined to Provide him with the luxuries and comforts of life, and he had a way of getting the best from life with out being too bold. He's taste was expensive but never bold, nor attention seeking, so it was always easier to blend in with his environment without dragging to much attention to himself. While I was looking around his fully furnished living room, the ash colored walls blended perfectly well with the cream colored tiles, the room was spacious enough to hold my entire apartment and still have space left, the huge chandelier hanging from the ceiling was so daunting and beautiful I could feel my jaw drop, the room was definitely organized by a professional with a small touch of abstract design and arts shattered around in a unique way I was totally lost when I hear a softly spoken "Wine?" I turn my attention to the man in question and find him with out his tie and jacket walking to his indoor mini bar. I was enthralled by the woodwork and size of the bar, it was hidden but not quite so hidden, it definitely made the room more masculine and the bold brown of the wood and emerald green of the glass added a sense of power to the room. I should have said no but I said yes, he Smiled and took a bottle of Baron with two glasses, while I Joined him at the bar. I realized he had rolled up his sleeves, his built was even better than I remembered, damn… the veins crawling up his arm and disappearing into his sleeves where enticing, I wanted to run my hands all over them, his biceps where almost hugging his shirt and his chest was open a little too decent for a body so sexy I had to force my eyes away. He filled up a glass and passed unto me, "trying to get me drunk?" I asked while taking the glass that was way to full for a cutesy drink. "If that'll get you to talk, I must say, I don't mind" he answered with a chuckle while talking the recliner beside mine. Colas pov: As I watch her look around my living room in astonishment, a small jab of guilt hits my chest, Blessing had no idea how wealthy my family was. Yes she knew we were rich, owning a construction company and a chain of Gas stations all over the country. But she still has no idea the extends of our wealth. She was never a material girl and that had made it a little more complicated to explain things to her, for both the fear of scaring her away, and the worry of getting her mixed up in family feud. She’d always told me how all she wanted, was to be able to enjoy peace and happiness with her family, providing them with their needs. She always spoke about how wealthy families lacked true happiness and peace, internal rivalries where constantly brewing while they kept a solid and reassuring mask for the public to see. I’d always tried to tell her that movies where just that, movies where far from reality I knew the truth, that she was right and that was why I never told her the truth. My service was to get away from my uncles and cousins so that I could return to take over my fathers business. Two attempts, had been made on my life while I schooled abroad, that was why I had to return to Nigeria. Where my father and mother’s influence could keep me safe, at the same time my father needed me on ground incase of any misfortune, I could quickly take control of the situation and find the relevant documents. Watching her jaw drop as she lifts her head to watch the chandelier I finally agree with the interior decorator, that it was worth it. My world felt complete, and I was more relaxed than I’d been since my return to Lagos. I offer her some wine and prayed that she accepts, hoping to use it to keep her until it was too late to drive her back home. I was determined to keep her by my side no matter the cost, I knew that if I could get her to stay the night here something in her demeanor would change. I needed her to be the old Blessing I fell in love with. I need my girl back, I had let her gone then, not because I couldn’t find her, but because I thought that was better for her, and now that I’ve seen her, I knew I couldn’t let her be with anyone else, she was mine and mine alone and now all I had to do was find a way to protect her while dealing with my family’s mess. I was more determined than ever and made a vow to myself that I was gonna get my woman and I was gonna keep her safe and away from the mess on going within the family. As she takes a sip of her wine, I couldn’t take my eyes off her neck, I wanted to leave love bites all over her neck, and more than anything I wanted to sniff it, if Blessing wasn’t the dead of me then,I didn’t know what was. I join her on the black recliner and could resist anymore as I softly brush the hair away from her face, I heard her take a sharp breath as my fingers touched her her face, so… I still had an effect on her, this pleases me more than I can say, sitting beside her give me the pleasure of hearing her unsteady breath. With that satisfying knowledge I take a drink from my glass while hiding a satisfied grin.
