CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVE Hoburn was just a few feet inside the cordon. “What’s going on in there?” Colt hollered at him. “We don’t know yet,” Hoburn said. “They’re not picking up the phone.” Within a minute of his call with Lyssa, he’d known something was wrong. Calling the cops was instinct, was it a mistake? All this activity could freak the fucker out. “Who is in there?” Colt asked. “Have your guys got a line of sight—” “We’re still getting set up,” Hoburn said, walking away. Damn.
