“How many employees send you resignation letter again?” I woke up by hearing Vince’s voice, is he talking on the phone?
I open my eyes and turn my head at the door, where I can hear his voice. He’s probably talking to the secretary who temporarily replaces me when I was away. Vince told me last night that he let Mrs. Wilson do my job while I was nowhere to be found. I felt bad and guilty at my actions, I forgot that I still have responsibilities to do at the company.
