1 year and 7 months later…
“Where are you?” Vince asks on the other line. My phone is at the dashboard, turning the speaker on to hear Vince clearly
“I’m on my way to work, why?” I answer while my eyes are on the road,
“Nothing, I just want to ask. I miss you baby,” I smile at what he said. My heart starts to thump fast
“I miss you too. Sean misses you too,” I replied. Vince is out of the country for a business trip, he didn’t let me come with him ‘cause he doesn’t want me to leave Sean
“How is he?” it took me a sec to answer as I stop the engine when the red light appears
“Hm, he’s fine. He got a lot of homework to finish at home,” I chuckled remembering Sean’s whines when I told him to finish his homework before I left him
