Shade’s POV
While waiting for Vince, I sat down and lay my head at the table in my office. He texted me to wait for him, saying that we’ll go home together. I’ve been reading some articles about Vince’s speech earlier, it made me smile reading positive comments about us now. I’m happy about it but I can’t help but thought Mrs. Lopez, I’m pretty sure she’s mad at me
“What you doing, baby?” I quickly raise my head and turn around to see Vince. He has a smile on his face. “Have you been waiting for long?”
I shook my head and smile, “Why didn’t you told me about the conference earlier? I should have come with you.” I said
“I was planning to, but I thought it would be better if I surprise you, also, I don’t want you to overthink about the issue.” He answered
