Elaine I woke up with the sunlight hitting my eyelids. “Good morning, Ma’am Elaine, I brought you some hot coffee to help with your hangover,” Blaire said as she gently placed a cup with a happy face design on the side table. “Please just call me Elaine, and thank you for bringing the coffee,” I replied, smiling. I sat up. My head still ached from all the wine I drank last night. “I’m not used to calling people by their first names. I usually address the people I serve as ma’am or sir.
