Lindsey A body full of alcohol did a great job of numbing the senses, but, this time it would be very far from numb. I did have a stomach full of apprehension, and how our interaction would be when we both had our wits about us. Could I go through with it, or would I freeze and pull back from Ben? Hell no. I’d come this far, so there was no way I was going to pull back. If s****l chemistry were the fourth of July, there’d be fireworks screaming around the landing toward Ben’s bedroom.
