The night had been good. I'd truly enjoyed spending time with Jacob. He was cuter than ever, and every time I looked at him I saw Ben. Yes, the eyes, the hair, the well-shaped nose. He was the cutest boy, and I got along fabulously-well with him.
The standouts for me were how he got so enthralled with the movie, sometimes acting like a character he'd seen. And then eating his dinner, all kids looked gorgeous when they ate. Their taste buds were connected to their face, somehow. You could tell exactly what they were thinking.
