Desmond was the first to wake up the following morning. By the time he was done using the bathroom, Benjamin was up too. They dressed up and headed outside where Rayla stood waiting with their mother. Greetings and smiles were exchanged in warm affection. The run with their mother the previous night had helped to clear their head and...mind. They had returned quite late but filled with happiness and satisfaction.
Lisa walked up and hugged her boys. "I will miss you both. And sorry for the loss of your friend."
"It's okay," Desmond nodded and smiled faintly. "We will be here more often though you will move out in no time. Just tell us whenever you are ready."
"I will." She turned to Benjamin with a smile. "Take care of your brother, okay?"
