“Mm, that’s sexy,” she mused from behind me, her voice low and teasing, making a grin pull at my lips as I tossed the pasta in the pan. The rich, creamy sauce coated each strand perfectly, filling the kitchen with the warm, indulgent scent of garlic, parmesan, and butter.
“I’m making you pasta Alfredo. How is that sexy?” I asked, glancing over my shoulder at her as I reached for the glass of white wine she held.
She handed it over without hesitation, watching me with an amused glint in her eyes as I took a slow sip. The crisp, chilled wine was the perfect contrast to the heat of the stove, and for a moment, I savored it before passing the glass back to her.
She shrugged, that infuriatingly beautiful smirk still playing on her lips. “Maybe everything you do is sexy.”
